Mi 9T

My Pixel 2 XL just died. So much for a fucking super-great camera. I'll never buy Pixel again.

So this time, I get myself a Xiaomi smartphone again. Xiaomi Mi 9T aka Redmi K20. No IP rated, but I guess I'll live up with it.

Sooooooooooo, screen dia sangatlah cantik. So much better than P2XL, walaupun hanya beresolusi 1080p. And screen dia penuh weh dan tiada notch! AMOLED, HDR10-compliant and full screen smartphone with a free-notch! The future is here! Wooooooooohooooooooooooooookexcited

Speaker dia hanyalah mono ye guys. Hanya satu ke arah bawah. Tapi the quality is not bad. Serius ni. Tapi, kalau tengok YouTube tak best la. kalau dengar lagu tu okaylah. Aku ada bluetooth speaker, so perkara ni tak berapa menjadi masalah untuk aku. Oh, call quality tak sesedap P2XL. Loudspeaker pun tak best. Sobs.

And the battery life, is fucking great. Dengan Snapdragon 730 dan 4000mAh bateri, SOT aku 2 jam 28 minit sekarang ni tetapi bateri masih berada pada paras 74%. Inilah yang mengingatkan aku kenapa midrange chipset paling bagus untuk penggunaan harian. And aku rasa ini adalah device yang paling power efficient yang aku pernah guna. 

Camera is good. Since aku datang daripada P2XL, aku kena take time dengan camera Mi 9T ni. Aku baru install apk GCAM, tengok macam lebih kurang quality dia. But still, aku rindu dengan camera quality P2XL.

Software is great. Aku tak faham akan kebencian terhadap MIUI, sebab aku rasa MIUI is not that bad. Aku rasa EMUI daripada Huawei lagilah tak best guna. Sekarang Mi 9T ni guna Android 9 dan MIUI Global 10.3.6 stable. Masih ada adaptive battery macam P2XL. Cumanya aku tak suka dengan launcher dia, so aku install Pixel Rootless Launcher. So, 1st world problem solved. Oh, 9T ni pun ada dark mode. Aku rasa almost semua smartphone yang guna OLED dah ada dark mode kot (?). 

IR blaster is no more. And as usual, slot SD card pun tiada. Tapi since aku dah start guna Spotify ni, aku boleh rasa lega sikit dengan ketidak-wujudan SD card pada smartphone ni. 9T tak support ARCore, so augmented reality is not supported so far. 

So, itu je lah kot. Overall, Aku berpuas hati dengan Mi 9T ni. Cheap and affordable smartphone is getting better. Thumbs up Xiaomi!
